Lice are tiny insects that live on human hair and feed on blood. They are common, especially in children, and can spread easily from person to person.

The most common symptoms of lice include intense itching of the scalp and the feeling of something moving in the hair. You may also see small white eggs (called nits) on the hair.

Lice spread primarily through direct head-to-head contact. They can also spread through the sharing of combs, brushes, hats, and other personal items.

A female louse, after a single mating, will remain fertile until her death, which typically occurs between 30 and 35 days. Within 24 hours of mating, the female will begin laying her eggs.

Each female louse will lay a clutch of 4 to 5 eggs, known as nits, twice a day until her death, which typically occurs about 20 days after reaching maturity. When laying eggs, the female louse excretes a fluid onto the nits that attaches them to the hair shafts. A healthy female will lay about 200 eggs in her lifetime.

initial assessment to determine the severity of the infestation.

Next, we use safe and effective, eco-friendly products to eliminate lice and nits.

The treatment for head lice typically takes approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours per person to complete. The time may vary depending on the length/thickness of the hair along with the degree of infestation.

Our process

1. We start by inspecting the hair for lice and nits. We use a magnifying glass and a
   fine-toothed comb to identify any lice or nits.
2. Once we have determined the severity of the infestation, we will recommend the
   best treatment.
3. We will then begin the treatment. We will use the treatment method that we have
   recommended, and we will be sure to follow all safety precautions.
4. After the treatment is complete, we will provide you with instructions on how to
   prevent a re-infestation. This may include washing bedding, clothing, and other
   items that may have come into contact with the infested person

We are committed to providing our customers with safe and effective lice removal
products. We understand that the scalp is a sensitive area, and we want to make sure

Our service price is $80 per hour per person plus a small fee of $0.70 per kilometer
traveled to your home.

A minimum of 1 hour is billed, and then in 15-minute increments from the first hour.

Our services are offered 7 days a week from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

At LiceOff, we are proud to offer a 30-day guarantee on all of our services, provided that the following conditions are met:

1. Examination and/or treatment of all members of a household: During our visit, LiceOff examines and/or treats all members of a household. Our full treatment involves a meticulous process that addresses every strand of hair on all family members. If the client requires a second treatment, our guarantee will be activated upon completion of this second procedure.
2. Post-treatment review: All individuals who were originally treated must complete a review within 7 days of the treatment. This review is essential to confirm the effectiveness of the treatment and ensure that lice have been eliminated completely.
3. Daily maintenance and communication: Daily maintenance must be completed and any evidence of lice or nits found must be shared with LiceOff via photos. This step allows for ongoing monitoring and ensures that any signs of infestation are addressed immediately.
4. The family has followed our post-treatment instructions to keep lice away.
5. All follow-up appointments with LiceOff are met.
6. The family uses the products recommended by LiceOff.
